who am i?

I’m Lindsey, a 25-year-old American-Israeli living in Tel Aviv, working as a writer for an NGO focused on democracy, equality, and human rights in Israel. I moved to Israel in June 2023, after completing my MA in Democracy and Governance, where I focused on the balance between democracy and security in Israel.

I fell in love with digital photography at eight years old and film at fourteen, with dreams of being a photojournalist for National Geographic. Though I eventually outgrew that dream (for the most part), I never lost my belief in the power of visual storytelling. I set my camera aside for a while during university and graduate school, but I’m back behind the lens with stories to tell and a renewed excitement for documenting the world around me.

I spend most of my free time reading, writing, flexing my creative muscles, and hunting down the best matcha in TLV. I am exceptionally loud and almost always late but mostly, I care about making the world a better, more just place.
